Search for it as an AC not cooling or air conditioner blowing warm air and you land in the same place: one visit, one written quote.
What the job involves
We start where the symptom points. A system that runs constantly without cooling is telling us something different than one that shuts off after ten minutes. We take temperature readings at the return and the supply, check airflow through the blower and coil, and look at the outdoor unit while it is running. From there we measure refrigerant pressures and electrical values to separate an airflow problem from a refrigerant or compressor problem. You get a plain description of what we found and what the repair takes.
What we check and repair
Common causes we find are a dirty or iced evaporator coil, a clogged filter starving airflow, a failed capacitor keeping the compressor or condenser fan from starting, a contactor that will not pull in, a blocked condensate drain tripping a safety switch, and refrigerant loss from a leak. We also clean matted condenser coils, since a unit packed with grass clippings and cottonwood cannot reject heat. Repairs range from a capacitor swap to leak repair and recharge, or a compressor and coil discussion on older systems.
How we decide it is the right call
We decide based on what the readings say, not the age on the data plate. If a single failed part restores full cooling and the rest of the system is sound, we repair it and move on. If we find a compressor that has gone to ground, a leaking coil on an old refrigerant, or repeated repairs stacking up on the same unit, we say so and lay out replacement as an option with real numbers behind it. Either way the choice stays yours.

Why is my AC running all day but the house never gets cool?
Usually airflow or refrigerant. A clogged filter, dirty coil or failing blower cuts capacity, and so does low refrigerant from a leak. Change the filter first, then call us for air conditioner repair if nothing changes.
There is ice on my indoor coil or the line. What should I do?
Turn the cooling off at the thermostat and leave the fan on so it can thaw, then call us. Ice means restricted airflow or low refrigerant, and running it frozen risks the compressor.
The outdoor unit fan spins but the air is warm inside. Is that bad?
It points to the compressor not running, often a capacitor or contactor, or to a refrigerant problem. It is not something to test yourself with high voltage present, so shut the system off and call us.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call or fill in the quote form. We ask what changed, when it started, and what the thermostat reads. That short conversation tells us whether you need a visit today or tomorrow morning.
- Step 2
We diagnose on site
A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow through the filter and ducts, and the equipment itself. We find the actual cause instead of swapping parts and hoping the noise goes away.
- Step 3
You decide before we work
We explain what failed, what the repair involves, and what we would do if it were our own house. Nothing gets replaced until you say go. Then we test the system before leaving.

Why homeowners call us
- Old houses and new onesWe are used to century-old homes with retrofitted ductwork and 1970s subdivisions with original returns. Tight crawl spaces, low basement headroom and odd attic runs are normal parts of the day for us, not surprises that stall the job.
- Built for the swingsHumid summers push AC systems hard and January freezes expose weak igniters and cracked flues. We repair for both extremes across the region, so the fix holds when the weather turns instead of failing the first hard week.
- Air conditioning and heating bothAir conditioner repair in July, heating repair in January, and the IAQ and airflow problems that hide in between. One crew that knows how your cooling and heating share the same blower and the same duct system.
- Plain talk, no pressureWe tell you when a repair makes sense and when replacement is the honest answer. No scare tactics about your BTU load, no upsell scripts. You get the condition of the system and a clear next step.
- All major brands, gas & electricEvery major HVAC brand, gas and electric, handled by an independent crew.
- Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
